All right Gai, you’re a genius.  We have just been sitting outside in the brasserie at the Grand Hotel in Bordeaux sipping “le white wine” and eating “le snack”. Prior to that we were at reception being upgraded to a Junior Suite (1200 euros a night according to the list on the wall), with free everything that moves in the hotel. The smiling concierge then got us a table at La Tupina – probably the most famous restaurant in the place, on a Saturday night. Anyway, thanks heaps and be assured that the Virtuoso brand is alive and well en Bordeaux. You’re a champion.
